Privacy Commitment: At Gridverse, we design our mobile experience with complete data transparency. This policy outlines how we collect, store, and safeguard your personal information and learning progress across iOS and Android.
1. Information We Collect
We only collect information strictly required to sync your spreadsheet learning journey, streaks, and subscription features:
- Authentication & Account Details: When you sign in with Apple ID or Google Sign-In, we receive your unique user ID, email address, and display name provided by those services. If you play as a Guest, all progress remains locally on your device unless you choose to link a cloud account.
- Educational Progress: Completed level refs, XP points, accumulated virtual gems (bytes), daily streaks, Git activity history, and mastery stats.
- In-App Purchases & Subscriptions: All payment transactions are securely handled directly by Apple App Store and Google Play Store. Gridverse does not collect or store financial or credit card information. Purchase tokens are validated via RevenueCat.
2. How We Use Information
We process your data exclusively to:
- Sync your level completions in real time across devices using Firebase Cloud Firestore.
- Verify PRO tier entitlements (unlimited lives, full formula vault access).
- Send optional daily reminders to protect your active practice streak.
- Ensure overall app stability, security, and cheat prevention.
3. Account & Data Deletion (App Store Review Guideline 5.1.1)
Direct In-App Deletion Available:
You can permanently delete your account and all associated cloud-stored progress at any time directly within the application:
Profile > Settings > Delete Account.
This action immediately wipes your authentication credentials and permanently deletes your cloud data from Firestore in accordance with Apple and Google data retention policies.
4. Third-Party Services & Security
Our infrastructure uses enterprise-grade cloud providers with SOC 1/2/3 and ISO 27001 certifications:
- Firebase & Google Cloud: Secure database, authentication, and cloud infrastructure.
- Apple StoreKit & Google Play Billing: In-app purchase processing.
- RevenueCat: In-app subscription lifecycle and receipt verification.
We never sell, rent, or trade your personal information with third-party advertisers or data brokers.
